Sunday morning. 40 degrees or so. On location with ten photographers and two models in downtown Atlanta.

This was, by far, the best location model photo shoot I’ve been on so far. Both Megan and Karah were amazing models, working very well in every location we set up at. They braved the drizzling rain, cold, and downtown Atlanta weirdos wandering around.

This was one of those days when all the lightbulbs went out at once. Meaning, I kept having to fiddle with the equipment at every turn. The second I got the right lens on, the flash mounted in the correct place, etc., my battery suddenly died. The second I replaced my battery, my flash mount started to slide the wrong way. You get the point.

Yet, through all that, I’m very happy with the shots I got. While I ended up shooting more photos of Karah, I was happy with the lighting and composition of the ones I got of Megan.

All photos shot on Fujifilm X-T2 and X-T3 using the 56mm and 90mm portrait primes. Having two camera bodies made all the difference in the split second to switch a lens and not miss an expression.
